XUXU Strudel

Warm and cosy strawberry strudel dream, ideal after an autumn walk.

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients for 6 servings

  • 1 Pck. Strudel dough
  • 750 g Strawberries
  • 2 Tb Sugar
  • 2 sachets vanilla sugar
  • 3 Tb XUXU
  • 2 Tb Butter
  • Icing sugar

PREPARATION

Wash and clean the strawberries and cut them into wedges. Place in a bowl and marinate with sugar, vanilla sugar and XUXU for approx. 15 min.

Roll out the strudel dough on a dampened kitchen towel.

Pour the strawberries through a fine sieve so that the juice runs off a little and the mixture is not too moist. Spread evenly over the strudel dough. Then roll up the strudel and press the ends together at the sides. Cut notches with a pointed knife.

Line a baking tray with baking paper and carefully place the strudel on it.

Melt the butter and brush the strudel with it.

Bake in the oven at 180°C top/bottom heat for approx. 40 minutes.

Remove from the oven and dust with icing sugar before serving.
